At the meeting of the executive board of District 11 held on September 27 , le President Directing Business representative David Chartrand appointed brother Yvon Paiement President of Local Lodge 712 to the position of Vice-President of District 11 for the remaining of the mandat wich is June 30 2009.

We would like to wich good luck tp brother Paiement in his new fonctions.

At the District 11 meeting of the delegates held on June 10 2006, the delegates attending have elected a new Audit committe for a 3 year mandate.

Their responsibility will be to verify the books of the District 11 Secretary treasurer twice a year with the trustees and give report to the District 11 delegates at the next meeting following the audit.

According to the District 11 By-laws, the business representatives held a meeting on July 5 2007 and add chosen the next directing business representative of District 11.

The choice was unanimous. Starting September 1 2007, brother David Chartrand, actual president of Local Lodge 712, will become the new president directing business representative of District 11 of the IAMAW, till the expiration of the mandate which is July 1 2008.
